Very Cool shot.
nice shot Mal, mind sharing your EXIF
I think the choice of focus and the mono suits the subject perfectly.
Perspective and focus make this composition really pop. Nice.
Great work transforming an ordinary scene into something special!
wonderful 'portrait'!
razor sharp! Love it. This is inspiring stuff....
very artistic mal. though this is maybe not what you were going for, i can see this hanging in a coffee shop. nice b&w.
Wonderful composition and I absolutely love that processing. Wonderful contrast. And the fine detail. Wow.
outstanding mal
Very, very cool shot, Mal..reminds me of old classic films. I can imagine the likes of Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn behind the wheel.
Love how the 2 subjects fight for attention...the shiny car and the ladies legs...lol
A Beauty Mal! Petra
you lucky fella, how did you manage to get a ticket? so sharp
Lol at Petra, shes right though
''The lady and the lamp'' ... seems an apt title as well. a fascinating shot ... with the dof thingy. Well thought through. richard
Great composition - absolutely made by the presence of the bicycle! Just my kind of street shot. A likey for me.
Ingrid
What a shot !!!
It reminds me De Nero films back in 80's. Very nice picture.
So which one is yours - lady or the merc. Judging by the focus choice it must be the car.
Excellent street shot with vintage appeal.
Focus on the wrong "lady", mal...otherwise grrr-ate.
Very 60's feel to this shot for me Mal.
Love it
..hehehe good one Mal,like this particulars... Just a question about the 2006 World Cup final ..Who won that match? I have great difficulty to remember this ..Lol!
Simply awesome Mal.
sehr guter, netter Schuß!!
I think that this B&W is perfect! Great clearness and great tones of grays! How?
Beautiful juxtaposition.
I just love the contrast between the sharp shining detail of the merc, with the beautiful reflections, and the soft image of the lady on the bike. Brilliant. (:o)
exquisite.
well done...i wouldve loved to have taken this shot...
brilliantly done, Mal--not just the technical handing and semantics of the photograph--but the message also.
A digital remastered 60's icon. And what's the question that I always ask when I like something ? How does it print out ? Nice one bruv

Cracking shot Mal.
Magestic Mal
Half the fun in coming in late on this, Mal, is reading everyone else's comments! I bet YOU get a kick out of it yourself.
The best thing I saw or read was that you "hope to post more regularly in future." BRAVO!
Cool. I have an almost similar shop. I'll try it in black and white and see what it looks like.
Great B&W. Something very nostalgic about this one. And sort of French... don't ask me why.
Top class here Mal, I am impressed by the sharpness an the DOF
Nice mono shot. Love the DOF.
So many questions... was this just one shot? What pp did you use on the 'background'... I'll stop there..
Amazing stuff Mal. It does have the chic Parisian feel to it, as already mentioned... although it was in Berlin
That's a great shot! I'm really drawn by the blurry focus of the cyclist and that really makes the shot for me, the contrast against the sharpness of the car detail.
Nicely done, Mal. Love the angle and b/w treatment.
Toujours aussi bon ! TRéS Jolie photo !
Beautiful photo mal. I like the many circles... and the woman that's fading away...
hey!! really nice one
Ah, a shallow DOF can be just gorgeous! Has some 50's feeling to it...
I like.
Superb!
